Baltimore, MD , February 2010-   Brent Miller, CCIM, CPM and Henry Hanna, CCIM, SIOR, recently attended the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Mid - Atlantic deal-making session held at the Gaylord Conventional Center at National Harbor. In attendance were various shopping center owners, brokers, retailers and vendors making their annual appearance to discuss the current state and expected direction of the Baltimore-Washington-Northern Virginia marketplace.  Overall, the outlook was a positive one with attendees optimistic about the year ahead and ready to make deals.  Hanna said that “several restaurants and national retailers held meetings at the SVN booth to talk about locations in Salisbury, Cambridge and Southern Delaware for store openings in late 2010.”  Miller states that "Leasing activity will continue to increase because tenants have realized that rental rates are at an all time low and the current market conditions are conducive to negotiate reduced rent on long term lease deals.” For more information please contact Brent.Miller@svn.com or Henry.Hanna@svn.com.

"I am writing to commend you on the professional job you've done in managing my personal commercial investment properties and my partnership interest in the Northwood Business Center. Even though I have over 30 years experience in the Real Estate industry, I have learned that your skills and expertise in managing my properties results in better bottom line for me and gives me the time to concentrate on the commercial brokerage, which is my strong point. It is great working with such a pro!"
- Henry Hanna, CCIM
